Expert Cyber Protection and Certification Support

Every organisation is a target for cybercrime, regardless of size, sector, or location. A single breach can lead to financial loss, operational downtime, damaged reputation and regulatory consequences. Boyns helps businesses stay secure by delivering practical, recognised cybersecurity solutions supported by IASME Gold accreditation and approved Cyber Essentials assessor status.

Cyber Essentials and IASME

Although Cyber Essentials and IASME are self-assessed standards, we support businesses in understanding the requirements and implementing the necessary controls, policies, and technical measures for successful certification. Cyber Essentials accreditation also includes free cyber insurance, providing added protection in the event of a breach. The scheme offers two certification levels: Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, independently verified self-assessment delivered through IASME. As an accredited assessor, we review your completed online questionnaire, which must be approved at board level, against the official assessment criteria. When all requirements are met, we award your organisation a Cyber Essentials certificate, enabling you to display the Cyber Essentials badge across your communications.

Cyber Essentials Plus

Builds on this by adding an independent, hands-on technical audit to verify that those controls are properly in place and working effectively.
